First o...Hi, <br />Thanks for your interesting question.<br />First of all, it s not additive it's re-balancing the diet. In winter cows are not on pasture, so they have less omega 3 in their diet. Even if you feed grass silage or dry hay, the diet will be lower in omega 3 than in spring. What we do is : in winter we re-balanced the cow's diet with some omega 3 sources to increase the level of omega 3 intake. Basically, when pasturing the animal we don't do anything, so you are right, grass is the best way to do it!<br />JuliaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
